Ok..after a couple of weeks trying to get Suzannes plan..well..i guess i have not succeeded...i am begining to have a nervous breakdown...i finally got my ATT and scheduled to take my nclex-pn 7/14....I finished school 6/8..i went away to ny to visit family for two weeks i came back on monday and started to study and review my Saunders Comp Pn 6/24...why is that i see a lot of Kaplan being better?...that the questions are harder and more at the NCLEX level??..is this true?...and if so why even bother with Saunders...tell me if im doing anything wrong...i took ALL 66 chapters and divided them to about 4-5chapters a day..i do the questions in the back of each and review the ones i got wrong...i dont know what im doing but i really dont want to KILL myself... and if anyone has any suggestions as to finding the most BENEFICIAL way of studying and what book to really use..thats would be worth my time before 7/14 that would be greatly appreciated...i mean i hear of people studying like mad men and women...seriously what is the best way of studying for an exam like this...yes im nervous..and i graduated with honors...but i like clear and to the point advice...i dont want to review things that will NOT be on an Nclex-PN exam...anyone who has taken it..what would be the best thing i could do NOW to help me prepare well for this exam..i also have plans in calling and re-scheduling to take it sooner..please help..THANK YOU

Look near the top of this NCLEX Discussion Forum and you'll see a sticky called 'The First Tip of My New Study Guide' (or something close to that) - it will get you on the right track.
Everyone's got their favorites as far as NCLEX study guides. Obviously many students would like to study every question that would come up on their NCLEX and only those questions that would come up. Unfortunately, there's a very wide range of material that could end up on your exam and no two exams are exactly alike. The key is to find study material that will give you a certain comfort level with a wide range of topics. Saunders did that for me, but many people certainly passed with other study guides (or none at all).
If you're feeling extremely anxious about the exam, I wouldn't try to take it sooner than scheduled.
thanx for the reply ...im also a BIG procrastinator too...i have been all throughout my program and still dont have a clue on to how i scored 90's and up on my ATI's...but i did read suzannes first tip...and i have realized that even if i do four to five chapters im only getting 65-80 questions per day...until i reach the disorders...then its 30-40 questions per chapter...(sigh)...i would like to get the exam over and done with yet im very nervous...i think i'll leave it alone...moving the date up...but i too have heard many good things about saunders...i think im going to stick with Saunders ONLY...although i also have the nclex lippincott review flash cards...maybe i should do those too...but i dont want to confuse myself...has anyone reviewed with the nclex lippincott flashcards and found out it helped??...
