Desperate need for preceptor!!

Hello Everyone,

I'm in desperate need for a clinical preceptor for my adult psych clinical this coming Spring 2017 semester. I had one lined up but was informed very last minute that she is no longer able to. I live in Harrisburg, PA but I am willing to commute to the surrounding areas even up to Philadelphia. I've called other places around here with no response from them or they're unable to accommodate. If you know or can recommend anyone please let me know.

Have you tried contacting your state NP association?

Have you tried contacting your state NP association?

Have you tried asking the Dept of Nursing for help? After all you are paying tuition or is this a tuition free school?

This site has a list of NP organizations that has preceptors listed http://www.theagapecenter.com/…/Spec…/Nurse-Practitioner.htm. The link is broken so you will have to copy and paste the organization name into the search engine. You can also check out https://npfinder.aanp.org to locate a preceptor. I live in Dallas, TX and just last week I was able to locate preceptors in Houston, San Antonio and Waxahachie through TNP. I hope that this helps.
