Do Dermatology Nurses generally work in doctor's offices with the 9-5 work schedule?

Yes, they do. Regular M-F with weekends and holidays off.

It is interesting. There are many things that go on in the body that cause dermatologic reactions.

We do alot of skin cancer surgeries also, which is very hands on. You're right in there holding the skin tight for the Dr as they are cutting and stitching.

Salaries are good...better than most, actually, but depends on the practice and the area you are in.

i think there might be a wound care / enterostamal (sp?) therapy forum where derm could be a addressed.
