Hours of Radiology Nurses
Are Radiology jobs available for nurses right out of school?

Slow Paced Nursing
Thank you so much for your reply. I have considered that. I'm assuming that "gerinurse" means that you are in geriatric nursing :) If so, how do you like it?

Hours of Radiology Nurses
Thank you very much for your reply! I currently work a 8-5 job with the holidays and weekends off. I would probably say that I've been spoiled with that kind of schedule but you're right if I plan to go into nursing I have to keep an open mind.

Anyone heard from Deaconess about summer start admissions?
Have you looked into the Weekend and Evening Program at Maryville University? I have heard so many good things about that program. Maryville is another option for full-time working adults. I have an appointment to meet with a counselor there to discuss the program.

Dermatological Nursing
Do Dermatology Nurses generally work in doctor's offices with the 9-5 work schedule? If you don't mind me asking... what is the salary like?

Slow Paced Nursing
I am currently a nursing student and I'm trying to figure out what field of nursing I am suited for. I can tell you that I am not good under stress and I would like to work in a more laid back environment (one that is not so fast paced). I don't even know if there is a such place in the nursing field. I have not begun any clinicals yet but I've been to the hospital many times and I sit back and observe the floor nurses and they look like they're running around like maniacs! I know that I would love to be a nurse in a slower paced environment where I can take time to take good care of my patients. Is there a place out there for me in nursing?

Hours of Radiology Nurses
I am currently a nursing student and would like to go into Radiology Nursing but I was wondering if there were positions out there in Radiology with a "normal" work schedule (i.e. 9-5)
