delayed CES approval

Hi everyone!

Does anyone here have the same dilemma as me?? I applied for my CES last March 13, 2006. I took the CGFNS CP last 2004 so CGFNS has all my papers with them. But I sent the license verification and nursing education background forms again. But, it's been almost 4 months and CGFNS has not approved my CES!! It's so frustrating. My eligibility for Illinois BON is pending because of that one document. I'm sooo irritated. I tried calling CGFNS but no customer representative is answering. I was on the phone for almost 30mins!!!!:angryfire

just venting out some rage here. arrgghhh!!!

as far as i know, u should send another documents if you're applying for another service... they can't use the documents that u passed for your CP.. check your status at their website to know what are the documents that are "waiting to be recieved".. my application for CES only takes about 2 months..

Hi, kathykaye!

i sent my documents twice. they got it last April or May. Up until now, they still haven't approved my CES. ahhhhhhhh well...

I already applied for or have been certified by the CGFNS Certification Program. Must I submit any other documentation for the Credentials Evaluation Service? Perhaps. The documentation required for the Certification Program differs from that required by the Credentials Evaluation Service. It will be necessary for you to request a full academic transcript from your foreign school listing each course you completed during your professional training, since the Certification Program does not require a full transcript and one may not have been provided by the school. If you are uncertain about the documentation CGFNS has on file and what you may need to submit or request, call the Customer Service Department for more information.

better check the website for your status through your cgfns account

or send an email to them

... umm i think CGFNS increases the processing times...

Hello KathyKaye,

Just would like to know from you, since you have been approved by CGFNS, if it is a requirement for me to be RN here in the Phils. first before applying for CES and CVS...err, I took the local board exam last June and I'm not so confident about my chances. By the way, I plan to apply to the NY BON.

Hope you can give me some inputs.

Thank you very much and God bless.
