I moved to a town 45 miles from my work, to a place 5 minutes away and also 5 minutes from my future reserve site. I was able to get on to deers to update my address. If I were not in the system would it have let me do that? I still own my other place and do check the mail there. I am awaiting orders to report to my unit, will they send them to the updated address in deers or is deers open to anyone that wants to go in and change their address?

''Question: Is DEERS information stored on AKO?
Answer: No, this information is not stored on AKO. It is retrieved and displayed when you access the DEERS service. When you log out of AKO, your DEERS information does not remain in the system''
Answer from DEERS webpage
Might I suggest you call HRC directly. If you get an AKO account your orders will show up there first before you get them via snail mail. Ask your recruiter for a sponsored AKO account.

Patty,
I am assuming that you already have an AKO account. You can go into the HRC site and change your address on your own. As for the orders like RunninMom said, your orders will pop up first in HRC under the "reserve tool" which is the same place where you can update your personal information.
