Just wondering how fast some of your schools got your roster out to the powers that be in order for you to get your ATT and schedule for the nclex? I am reading some of you were able to get signed up and take the nclex so fast. My school took a month after graduation to send out the roster. Seems once that was done, pretty much the rest fell into place fast. So the wait was due to the school. Of course we all needed to study, took Kaplan etc. ... still looking at those videos, LOL. Did some of you have nclex prep built into your cirriculum so that you were pretty ready to go?

Here we have to send our transcripts ourselves. So I called until mine were printed, picked them up and dropped them off at the BON 8 days after graduation. Some in my class didn't call and it took weeks for them to get their transcripts. It took 3 days to get my ATT after dropping off my app and transcripts and I took the test 2 weeks to the day after graduation. I think the fact that it was 2 days before Christmas explains why there were test slots open that soon. If I hadn't taken that day I'd have to wait 3 weeks. Good luck!

I graduated Dec 17th... received my ATT Dec 31st. I was pretty shocked by how fast that went.. however I received my ATT and the board still hadnt received my transcripts yet. I dont believe my school actually sent the transcripts till about Jan 22nd. I just took the NCLEX yesterday Jan 27th... a classmate of mine already received his results so Im hoping that means they have received the transcripts and I can get my results ASAP!
Edit-- I forgot to mention.. no my school did not have an nclex prep built in.. we didnt have to take the HESI either. I just did Kaplan.. started studying beginning of Jan, took the test yesterday, stopped at 75, got the good pop up, hoping for the best. :)

We didn't have to send out anything at my school. We graduated on December 19th and we received our ATT before the New Year. As far as NCLEX prep, we had NCLEX 3500/NCLEX 4000 on our laptops(the school offers its students laptops) and we also had the take the HESI exit exam and score 900. I just took my boards on the 26th and I passed!!!

Different schools have different policies on how much support they give their students who have finished the program. Sometimes the student has to get the ball rolling on their own.
Yes, pretty much the reason I started this thread. We, were pretty dependent on the school to determine when our info was sent. Also not prepped during school for the neclex, we are on our own. Interesting to see how proactive some schools are. It can only benefit the students.

I had my ATT in about 6 days after my Pinning ceremony.
