Deaconess Accreditation Issues?

Hi everyone!

I think I have read every single post on this site regarding Deaconess School of Nursing. I printed part of the online handbook from Deaconess' site. It says that the "Associate of Science in Nursing and the ... are accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commision." However, further down it states that the web based programs "are approved by the Missouri State Board of Nursing." I am wondering if this means that the web based programs are not accredited by the NLN? I live in NC and am an LPN. I graduated in May 2003 from the LPN program.

I know..call my SBON-right? I would love to hear from anyone in NC especially!

Also are hospitals the only place that can be used for clinicals? Someone named Erin Kelly at Deaconess told me that there is a clinic in NC that has a Deaconess student. However, she is in the BSN program. I wondered if that is why she is at a clinic instead of a hospital.

Could I complete my clinicals in a state in which I do not live? I only live about three miles from South Carolina.
