Hello everyone! Has anyone applied for spring 2019?

I have applied on sept 04, 2018 with 30 points.

My friend told me we send our teas score by Nov 30 so maybe they should be sending decisions out soon. But she personally told me she'll try to inform us by Thanksgiving :)

Wait, I am taking my TEAS on the 30th, is that going to have an effect on my acceptance into the program?

They haven't notified us anything yet, and I couldn't find the dates on the website. I think you'll be fine because if it is due on the 30th, the school will receive your score within 2 hours when you send it. Again, the lady told my friend and I different things. I'm certain she told me she'll let us know decisions by Nov 30th, not that TEAs scores are due Nov 30th.

Oh ok, have you already taken the TEAS? If so, do you have any tips?

Yes I have! I would recommend you purchasing practice test B on the ATI's website. I used mometrix's studyguide, you can purchase that on amazon. The reading, english, and science on the practice test were very similar. Math was easier on the actual test.

Mometrix is excellent. Avoid the "Trivium" brand TEAS study guide. I found more than 5 blatant errors in the reading and science sections.

How long did you guy's spend studying? Do you think 4 weeks is enough time to review everything?

I spent about 2-3 weeks studying. Yes that should be enough time! You only need to take it to pass for lbcc right? Getting at least 62% won't be hard at all!

Ok that sounds great. Ya all I need is a 62% so hopefully I can reach that.

Anyone get a letter in the mail?

They're going to email but I don't know when we should receive it.

Hello Everyone!

So excited for spring 2019. So I applied to the program last year, and I got in for fall of 2018 but I couldn't start right away bc I got married and took a long trip out of the country. But I'm ready to start up! I applied with 29 points and I was accepted. So all of you with 30pts depending on the amount of applicants you have a pretty high chance of getting in :) can't wait to meet you all! and Good luck to everyone

P.S. I went to the orientation from the semester I initially got in and they need Teas passed a couple weeks before starting the program. They also hold the teas at the school once you get in.
