Cypress Spring 2019

I also applied to the Spring 2019 program at Cypress, with 30 points. I still have to turn in my paperwork though. Did they by any chance tell you when we should be hearing back from them?

She said she'll try by Thanksgiving, but before Nov 30th for sure.

Does anyone know how to calculate points for the student success coursework with transcript portion? Do we earn 1 point each per student success course that we've completed?

Yes, it is one extra point for each course you have completed, like chemistry and math over intermediate algebra.

Oh man sweet, in that case I have 30 points! For that section do we need to list out the courses we've taken or will they just automitcally give us the points by looking at our transcripts?

I was not so sure about the points. I was assuming it's 1 point per section. As for the student success coursework, we just had to list the classes that we have taken.

There was a section in the application where you are supposed to list them, to actually receive the points.

I also applied to Cypress and turned in my application some time in August. Were we supposed to calculate our points? It seems so long since I turned it in that I don't really remember. I just remember applying online and turning in my packet on campus. Has anyone taken the TEAS yet?

Hi HB2018! I have not taken the TEAS yet. I'm kind of nervous to take the TEAS actually, even though I know I shouldn't be... I was just going to wait until they invite me to take it. I know I'll need to take by the end of the year though. If you don't mind me asking, how did you do on your TEAS? I'm not sure how many points I have but finished all the required and additional courses.
