Cynet..good or bad?

Cynet travel agency good or bad?

Bad. Like all travel companies. Stop looking at agency brands. Instead evaluate recruiters for honesty, communication skills, and having your best interests at heart. Agencies don't usually have the latter ingrained into their corporate culture, they do what is best for them.

Never heard of them. Personally, I avoid unknown agencies. I suggest finding travel nursing groups and asking for recruiter suggestions. There are even websites that have recruiter ratings / reviews if you look / ask around enough.

Travelnursing.org is a wonderful resource. Employees rate travel agencies.

I would highly recommend that no one use this site. It is a marketing site that exists to sell your contact information to all agencies. If you want random agencies and recruiters (usually recruiters in training) to call, text, and email you, go for it. Controlling the process and picking agencies you call is a better way to go in my opinion.

There are some sites that rate travel companies, this site is not one of them.

Hi NedRN - it doesn’t look like anyone has named a site that rates travel companies - other than TravelNursing.org mentioned here...

So thankful that you exposed, “TravelNursing.org,” but how did you know? Could you, please, name a good travel agency-rating web site that is not a marketing site? (Other than PANTravelers)

All "best" agency sites have a bias. Not one can possibly know which one - or more specifically - which recruiter is best for you and in what way. Not even a travel nurse with 25 years of experience can tell you. Start with there are no good agencies and you will begin to approach the business of travel nursing from the right perspective. As you have recently read my article on how to find an agency, I won't go on at length here.

Perfect! Thank you. I totally get what you are saying. My plan is to 1. go to PANTravelers to research agencies. 2. choose a couple dozen agencies and recruiters based on reviews that align with my own circumstances. 3. call and interview the agencies and recruiters. 4. complete a fully-on boarded, “open,” relationship with 3 recruiters from different companies. My husband is a 10-year CCRN who was pulled onto the COVID-ICU. We are ready to take the leap to travel nursing to staff COVID-ICUs in the nation’s remaining hotspots. We only plan to do this for a short time, so I’m trying to get it right early-on in the process.

Good plan. However, while PanTravelers is a good site for basic and advanced traveler info, they do not have information on individual agencies. The exception to that is a list of agency brands owned by the two largest agencies, which can be rather opaque when sifting through agency brands and not realizing that they are not independent brands.

Check out GypsyReports.com , there are tabs at the top for different databases for your review. You can choose Facilities to read about different hospital reviews, you can choose Recruiters to read about different recruiter/agency reviews. The website is owned by me, a current travel nurse, and I have absolutely no affiliation with any agencies other than taking contracts for work. You can read the About tab to understand why I started the site and more.

Also, you can use the search bar to search for specific agencies, recruiters, hospitals, etc. If you're searching for specific hospitals, I suggest you try to find them by their city first, then by their name, don't use commas to separate words, just use spaces.
