CSULB Spring 2022

Hello everyone!

I couldn't find a forum for this year's pre-nursing students that are applying to CSULB so I made one myself! Anyway, I know I'm not the only one who wants to compare scores or see if their scores are competitive, so here it is...

I'll start it off...

GPA (SCIENCE) : 3.7 = 3.7 pts

GPA (GE) : 4.0 = 2 pts

TEAS OVERALL : 87% = 1.74

TEAS READING : 86% = 1.72

TOTAL POINTS = 9.16 pts

Im planning to retake the TEAS for the THIRD TIME and try to get 90%+ on both, and yes, Chemistry messed me up, ifykyk.

Sorry if my english/grammar is trash, its my lowest score on the TEAS ^_^

DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED.. DO NOT LOSE HOPE!! WE ALL GOT THIS ❤️

It was from CSULB admissions, not SON. I have no idea if they only sent this email to transfers. Seems that second degree or prenursing applicants did not receive it.

oh I see. thank you! I was freaking out just now OMG

I believe csulb emails out admissions decisions to transfer students first and then the school of nursing sends their own letter? (what I got from the fall 2021 thread)

In the email it says we can begin to accept the offer, send transcripts, etc. I assume it was only sent to transfers cause no prenursing applicants shared any update here. I guess you guys will receive updates soon.

I am a 2nd bachelors applicant and I just got an email from CSULB admissions but it states "You are offered admission to the following program: Nursing Basic Addl BS".

Good luck to everyone!

I think in previous years, official acceptance emails from SON came around a week later so we can expect to hear some news early-to-mid next week!

Congratulations to those who were accepted to Long Beach and East Bay. I was rejected by Long Beach and got in to waitlist for East bay, with a 4 GPA and a 93% TEAS score. ( I had my Chemistry in progress ) I had 400 hours of volunteer in health and community service as well as I'm bilingual. I didn't even give a chance for communication exercise!!

Anyway, I don't understand! It's really diaspointng...

We have similar stats, and I was also placed on the waitlist for EB. It's all is soo disappointing, especially since we all work so hard to just be eligible to apply. But, you’ll definitely get in somewhere, so don’t lose hope! If you don’t mind me asking, were you placed on upper, middle or lower 1/3 of the waitlist? CSUEB usually accepts about half of the people on their waitlists, so don’t give up!
