CSULB Spring 2017

Is anyone applying? :) I thought I'd start a thread.

Haha sorry for laughing, but I haven't had that dream. I can totally relate though. I've been checking my email in the middle of the night knowing damn well everyone is asleep. Hah

Ugg I am so guilty of checking my application status and emails in the middle of the night í ½í¸‚í ½í¸‚

I can't even eat well; checking my email hourly. It will probably take them few more days to calculate all applicants total points based on the communication excercise results. Brace yourselves...just kidding. Most of us will make it! Amen!

Guh, your post almost gave me a heartattack, i'm already waiting for the alternate list email to arrive.

If any of you don't have classes this semester then you can try to find any new TV series online and watch it to kill time as well as get your mind off of all this until the end of this week. Just a suggestion hahaha. :)

Or you can read past threads of prior applicants to keep you distracted and informed haha. The wait is starting to get to me. Anxiety is at a new all time high. Who's with me?

I'm also really anxious about the results. For some reason, I'm trying to prepare myself for a "waitlisted" or "denied" email. Probably because I do not want to be heartbroken if I don't get in haha.

Anyways, I'm hoping for the best and I really want to get in. Getting into CSULB's SON was my main goal since I started my prereqs 2 years ago. I also have El Camino College as my 2nd choice.

As few of you suggested I read the thread from the past year's Spring 2016 admission period and found that an acceptance notice was emailed on the ninth day, which means it took them exactly eight calendar days to process everything since the communication excercise. Communication excercise was held on October 7th and results were posted on October 16th.

I'm not expecting it sooner than Friday. After all the waiting I'm like over being stressed at this point lol.

Agreed. I am not expecting to hear any sooner than Friday so I'm not going crazy checking email and stuff

I'm staying positive and optimistic. I noticed some guys counting themselves out.

True, I should be optimistic, however the email stated that the cut-off was 9.15 and anyone who was under was invited as an alternate. My score was 9.12 so I am not going to be overly optimistic, and more realistic. I don't count myself out completely, who knows with the communication exercise, things could have changed. But I really don't want to get my hopes up, I have given up my spots from other colleges because the only college I want to attend is CSULB, one of the reasons is because I live very very close and wouldn't have to deal with driving, and CSULB has one of the best nursing programs in SoCal.

I am wishing all of you luck in getting in, I've met so many great and smart people from the ones I met while taking the Teas, to the ones I met while doing the communication exercise. Also all of you on here have very strong scores and I'm optimistic that all or almost all will have no problem getting a spot. :)
