So relieved we finally heard from them! CONGRATS everyone, it's official!

For anyone else on the waitlist/alternate list, are you signing the attached document and then scanning and emailing it back? Or do we physically mail/drop it off? All it says in the instructions are "Please return a signed copy of the attached letter by Friday, April 17, 2020 to either accept or decline the terms of your alternate status for the Fall 2020."

I got in as well! CONGRATS to everyone who has made it in and good luck to those on the alternate list/waitlist!

I'm also planning on moving to Long Beach so if anyone is looking for a roommate/housemate feel free to send me a message!

Same! I still haven’t heard back from one of my programs and I’m not sure if it will come out by the deadline for CSULB SON.

Help! I received admission to both the university and the School of Nursing. I tried to accept my offer to the university today, but it said that my application was no longer active. I'm so so confused and worried and I don't know what else to do. I called and made an appointment with a counselor, but that won't be until next week and I've emailed who I've been in contact with. Has this happened to anyone else? :'(((((

I would recommend calling the admissions office. When I had an issue recently I was able to get ahold of someone there and they were very helpful in figuring it all out.

Did you try to accept via your portal? Send in your decision via the letter from Nancy. I think that is the current way to accept admission, but I could be wrong. Have you tried using beachqueue to speak with a counselor? It's by email and much faster.

I tried to accept via my portal for admission to the university because I would be coming in as a transfer student. I accepted my SON acceptance by sending in the form that Nancy sent with admissions letters. I will try beach queue and update you all! Thank you so much. ??

update: I tried BeachQueue but they’ll only allow the admissions questions via the appointment I believe. The Beach Intake Service is for in-person, I think, but I’m not familiar with it.

Use this link. I've used this method to communicate with admissions regarding any issues I’ve had. They’re pretty quick to respond. Hope it helps
