CSULB Fall 2015 Applicants-Basic BSN

I am extremely surprised there isn't a thread that exists for students applying to CSU LB for Fall 2015!!

Here are my stats, but enlighten me on one part, what does the general gpa consist of? I actually went to CSULB and met Monalisa, but she said the nursing program only looks at eight classes... Maybe I should call to reassure how they calculate the cummulative GPA, but my other scores are set.

Science GPA: 4.0: 4

TEAS Math: 100 : 2

TEAS Overall: (90.7x2)100:1.814

GE GPA: TBA

So far so good, but being that a 3.0 is the cut off gpa for general and science for the program I am giving myself a 3.0/2= 1.5 as a score and my points would be a 9.314 as a default. Hopefully it will be higher.

    Glad so many alternates got in! I was number 28 on the list so I guess I'm now number 8, which is funny because that was my waitlist number for spring 2015 app. Did any alternates get an email for their orientation date yet? ----------------- sent it to me very last minute last semester and we had to print a lot of things so let's hope she sends it soon.

    No. For CSULB, extracurricular activities don't count. What matters are only your Prereq grades and TEAS.

    Does anyone know when the alternates, who recently got an email from SON, need to accept or decline by? I'm still on the alternate list and just looking for a date that I may get that lucky email! :) Thank you ahead of time!

    Lol this is such a late response.. but it seems that the date differs based on when the alternate was accepted. My friend was accepted off the alternate list a few days before I was and because of that, his deadline was sooner. It seems to be about a week from when the alternate is accepted.

    My score was 9.75.... I know someone else who got in who got at 9.2. About 20 people also got in off the waitlist.
