Lol this is such a late response.. but it seems that the date differs based on when the alternate was accepted. My friend was accepted off the alternate list a few days before I was and because of that, his deadline was sooner. It seems to be about a week from when the alternate is accepted.

CSULB's School of Nursing takes your highest TEAS score. You can take it as many times as you want. If you want to raise your score, that would be the thing to do. You do have a very high score, though!

Hahaa yess.. my body isn't ready for the actual program. I'm pretty scared to be honest. Not every alternate was been accepted yet. As the person above me stated, they are on alternate 21. The alternates can be accepted as late as the second week of the fall semester. Alternates are placed on a list and we are ranked based on our scores. We are then accepted as spots become available starting with the individuals that had the best scores and then going down. I am not a transfer student. Very few transfer applicants get to be on the alternate list.

My stats were as follows : 97% TEAS math : 1.94 88% overall TEAS : 1.76 4.0 GE : 2.0 4.0 science with Anatomy in progress : 3.53 Overall : 9.2 I was very fortunate to have already been a student at CSULB which is why I was even given the position that I had on the alternate list. I was alternate number 19 and I was accepted today as was my friend that was alternate 20!! Good luck to everyone!!

I think what might be happening is that the people (like me) who received invitations despite low scores (mine was 9.22) are alternates. Someone mentioned earlier than CSULB only accepts alternates that are already CSULB students. I've heard of the alternate list being as long as 20 applicants in years past so that is one possible explanation.

Hi guys! I'm a student at CSULB and I just got my invitation to the communication exercise as well at around 2pm this afternoon. My score was definitely on the low end, so I think I will end up being an alternate but I am still feeling very very fortunate and excited to have made it this far!!
