CSN Spring 2015

Is anyone applying for Spring 2015 Nursing Program 2015? I applied for Fall 2014 with 37 points and will be applying for Spring 2015 with 38 points. Does anyone have pointers for the application process? Has anyone gone to the limited entry workshop? I have been discouraged, and need some uplifting information.

Thanks everyone for the info about toolbox.

...and I don't know if anyone noticed but the toolbox course is only listed for 12/15/14 - 12/19/14 & 1/5/15 - 1/14/15.... since its not continuous that's how I am able to make it work 

I didn't even notice that, thanks for the heads up. I signed up for the 8-9:30 but might go back and enroll in the 10-11:30. I thought it was every day and with my work schedule the 8am worked better, but now that I know it's not every day I might be able to change it later. Thanks kaybah_janae.

My class meets really early from 8-930[TABLE=class: PABACKGROUNDINVISIBLE, width: 481]

I'll probably be seeing you bright and early unless I change it to the 10am, but I'm thinking I rather just get it out of the way early in the day and have the rest of it to do the homework and for my work schedule.

im guessing we should start getting our hepatitis B vaccine, since we need to have taken two of the three shots prior to january 15.

So all the phone calls have been made, right? Didn't get one or anything in the mail so I just checked on here and seems like selection is over. Wonder where I went wrong???

How many points did you have? Were you going for part time or fulltime?

Maybe the limited entry office still have applications...I would ask to review yours so that you can correct the error whe reapplying next semester...just in case there was one.

Erin13, there are so many different components in the process it could have been anything. but Kaybah jenae is right you should go speak to the admissions department so you know what it was exactly. Whatever you do don't give up, you made it thus far.

Thanks for the advice guys, I applied for part time with what I thought was 30 points. I am going to call Monday and hope I can make an appointment to figure it out. I'll just try again in Fall!

@Erin13, I don't know what the cut off for alternates for part time was but just for future reference part time acceptance is always higher points-wise than full time acceptance. Fulltime acceptance cut off we can assume is somewhere around 30. Part time was most likely around 35 to 36. I would check with limited entry for sure but my guess would be that your points were too low for part time acceptance....and maybe too low for alternate status too. But also too there could have been an error like there was with one of the other girls and maybe you should of received a call....you never know. it's all worth just asking about ??

Last I saw, aid begins distributing Jan 13th, so it's a really close shave. I'm in the same boat, keeping my fingers crossed it all works itself out!
