CSN Spring 2011 RN Program

Good Afternoon All!

I thought it was about time to begin a thread for those applying for entry into the Spring 2011 RN Program at CSN. My big question is: Will you be applying to the full-time or part-time program and with how many points? It might also be nice to get to know some of our (hopefully) future classmates! I am applying to the Full-Time program with 29 points. Will that be enough? I sure hope so!

    136 for full time, and 24 for part time.

    Online priority registration is for those who still need to take gen-ed/pre-req courses. I am pretty sure that registration for our nursing classes will happen on/after orientation. Based on previous posts, everyone randomly picks a number that determines in what order you select your class schedule.

    Based on the message that the lady left on my phone, the mandatory orientations are Nov 12 and Jan 6th. School starts on Jan. 24th as someone previously posted.

    We have to pick up the acceptance letter and packet on Mon, Nov 1st (between 9-12 and 1-4? I think. I'm not sure on the afternoon times). The first mandatory orientation is Friday, November 12th. The lady that called me and left a message said the other mandatory orientation was Thursday, January 6th. I would double check on the second orientation, which I'm sure if you called they could tell you.

    Thanks Melissa! The lady I talked on the phone just told me to pick up the letter at their office and didn't mention about the orientation sessions at all. I wish they could have given us a bit more advanced notice so that I could take a day off from work on Nov 12th. I guess I have to call in sick...
