Published

Hi!!!

I recently applied for the spring 09 program at CSN. I am terrified to find out if i am accepted or not. I have all the pre-reqs completed and the all the additional ones too. I have a GPA of 3.5. But i am still so scared to find out!!!. I think in total i have 27 points. Someone can help please?:)

Hey welcome to the boards. I've also applied to CSN for Spring 09. I have about a GPA 3.8 and completed everything but the american politics class which I'm taking right now. I believe I have about 30 points. If you have 27 points from what I've heard you'll be easily accepted. I believe the cut off points is usually around 23 - 25 points, it's listed somewhere in another thread. I really hate waiting. I just want to know one way or the other.

thanks alot. are you applying for full or part time. I applied full time. i hope we can keep in touch and help each other somehow:nurse:

I have applied for full time as well...the sooner you get it completed the better is what I say lol. Yes it'll be nice to know other students in the problem ahead of time.

Any idea when are we supposed to find out if we are in or out?. I yhink they told me end september-October

I'd never asked anybody but someone else on here did and all they told them was if you don't hear by the end of October then you should contact the limited entry office. So really have no idea when we are supposed to find out, you would think it wouldn't take them that long to pick out who's accepted.

A friend of mine called today, she was told October 29th was the day.... I wish it was sooner!

Oh gosh that's so far away. You wouldn't think it could possibly take that long for them to sort out the top qualifiers. Thanks for letting us know!

Specializes in ob/gyn med /surg.

yeah, it seems like a long wait! and then you find people around you that have no clue how hard is to become a nurse. You just wanna say there is a selection process, so the ones that make into the program they have to be special. For the love of God, of course they are special!THEY ARE NURSES!. Good luck to everyone!

Hi,

I think with 27 points you have nothing to worry about. I applied for Spring 09/full time and I am stressed because I only have 25 points. I guess youi can say I'm not one of the "top qualifiers" :banghead:. I am hoping and praying that I am accepted, so I'm sure you will make it in without any problems. Waiting is the worst part. Good luck.

You said it right!!! waiting is worst than any class you can possibly take!!. Still, you know, i am pretty worried probably just like you uh?. i am not one of the top qualifiers either, i mean i ve seen people with 4.0 GPA...

Anyway, let's keep our fingers crossed hoping for the best!.

Anyone knows the criteria they used, besides being points? I heard that they take a special attention to you GPA:confused:
