I have a BS Degree in CIS and a Masters in Accounting...
The requirements for becoming a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) mainly include having a bachelor's degree in nursing (or other appropriate baccalaureate degree)
What other "appropriate baccalaureate degree" are they talking about?
Would a BIS count?

Welcome to AN! The largest online nursing community.
I am sure they are thinking along the lines of pre-med science focus. A good CRNA program requires clinical experience mostly in critical care, as a nurse. What has you wanting to be a CRNA?

I think some schools list other degrees, usually any type of science works. I have a bachelors in Exercise Science and got invited for an interview, so I guess it was good enough.

Depends on the program. Some will accept a B.S. in other areas and some programs require a BSN.

Hi Ether Bunny,
To clarify, you just have a bachelors in exercise science and have 0 experience as a critical care nurse? Or you work as a nurse with Associate but you have a bachelors in exercise science? If you can tell me more about your background. It seems impossible to get an interview without having to work at least as a nurse especially in critical care.
