  1. Quick question, has anybody got their RN licensure for MN and WI yet? I was thinking about waiting till the first of the year.
  2. As a future student to this school, reading Yikes75's comments makes me nervous. I appreciate 22gawhitacre's advice though. I have read this type of advice from students in other CRNA programs, so I am sure these types of issues are not SMU specific. I guess I'll find out for sure next year.
  3. I been trying to look around the area also. I'm planning on renting a house, that way the kids have somewhere to play. It's hard right now though because like crnasouthwannabe said, a lot of the housing that we see available now, won't be available come time to move. I'm coming from Oregon btw.
  4. Thanks. I would think you would get it at least by tomorrow. The waiting is nerve racking.
  5. I got my acceptance letter today. I live in Oregon btw. Anyways, I'm super excited and now its time to start getting everything in order, moving, financial aid etc.
  6. I haven't received anything yet either. I keep checking this forum everyday to see if anyone else has.
  7. I can't remember how far into June the interviews go but I remember being told we would find out if we got accepted around the end of June or early July
  8. I think some schools list other degrees, usually any type of science works. I have a bachelors in Exercise Science and got invited for an interview, so I guess it was good enough.
  9. I had my interview today for SMU. It was over the phone, I live in Oregon. It was pretty casual like others have posted. They did give me a scenario at the end and asked me a few questions about what interventions I would do. Overall I think I did ok for my first interview, I have room for improvement though.
  10. You're probably right as far as going there in person for the interview. I myself though chose a phone interview. I wanted to get it done as soon as possible and with my current busy schedule and finances, it was the best option. Good luck to everyone on their interviews!!
  11. Congrats also! I too got a letter in the mail today for an interview.
  12. I applied to SMU and also got that e-mail about accepting two more students this year. Missnurse01, I think I read on some other forum also that there had been some issues with the director. Hopefully it was only class specific.
