CPS flag

Wondering if anyone has any update??I graduated just last month and learned of the flag earlier this week. I have tried calling the BON and PCS multiple and have gotten NOWHERE! Looking for guidance from anyone who can offer! 

I emailed the GMC LIASON she gave me the list of stuff I needed to send I sent it over priority mail after that it was a waiting game . I found out February 22 my license was active on the BON but no one told me I just kept checking the website. I never had to have a meeting and I never went before the board I just sent them all my documents. The whole ordeal took about 2 months

Thank you for your response. I haven't even been able to sit for NCLEX or able to receive my ATT. Last time I spoke with PCS they said I was in "board review" they have no their info. I've only been able to get info from this site as to what I may expect. 

Did they see the details of your case in the report?

The BORN sees EVERYTHING from CPS. As a DV victim, it was excrutiatingly painful to have to re-live the worse moments of my life and defend myself as a victim over and over during this process. You also have to put everything in your own words. It took about 7 months in height of Covid (not sure how long it is now) for BORN to read my statement along with the letters of recommendation that I also had to humiliate myself by telling my painful past to professors and former co-workers to get.  It is a horrific way to victim shame. Meanwhile, all kinds of unstable nurses walk right through to the ATT. It's a crappy system they have going on at the MA BORN.

Do you have an update? I am going through the same situation and still haven't received my ATT. I have emailed the board numerous times and they are just so vague with their replies and won't even confirm for me that they received all of my documentation.

Hey, nothing! No response! No help! No suggestions! Nothing! Where are you located? Is there a way I can send you my number? I can tell you what worked for me!

I haven't been on this thread in 2 years, but I just wanted to give some insight/info on my experience...

It took several months from the time I graduated to finally be able to get my ATT code and sit for NCLEX (graduated in May and sat for NCLEX in September) . And that was 2 years ago when they first began this new "CPS Flag". I had to re-live my past (15+years ago) and explain to complete strangers uncomfortable, embarrassing, & traumatizing situations that I had worked extremely hard to overcome. I do understand why they are doing these kinds of checks, but I disagree on how they are approaching it. I NEVER abused my child or anything of that nature!! I think they need to reorganize and rethink the structure of this. But anyway....I pushed my Liason that was assigned to me to get this done.  I know I drove her crazy, but do not sit back & wait! Be on them to get you in front of the Board ASAP. I want to say that the Board only meets twice a month so if you aren't persistent, then you could be waiting quite some time! Good luck to all!!

Thank you for your reply and insight. You would think that the "new process" would move a little faster but its not looking that way. It's insane how long this process is but the worst part is the lack of information out there for those of us going through it. This is literally the only place online I was able to find with any info regarding this. There's absolutely no information on the BORN website about the process or timeline and the email replies are so vague.
