About 3-4 months I had to send in letters of referral and write about what had happened and get documents from dcf, I didn't have to go infront of the board I just checked online one day and my license was active

I went to school in Rhode Island also I ended up testing there and when it was time for reciprocity I had a problem with GMC for mass but atleast I had my RI license while I waited

I emailed the GMC LIASON she gave me the list of stuff I needed to send I sent it over priority mail after that it was a waiting game . I found out February 22 my license was active on the BON but no one told me I just kept checking the website. I never had to have a meeting and I never went before the board I just sent them all my documents. The whole ordeal took about 2 months

So I got the list of documents....the one that we sign for release of info for DCF does that go back to them when we sign it or does it go to DCF

How long would you say it took from you finding out about the flag, it's been about 3 weeks

When the board ask for more documentation is it by email or a letter in the mail

Praying the process is faster than not that you for your help

TYSM, it just drives me crazy that they let me work as a LPN for 3 months with a temp license but now it's an issue, not to mention I'm an LPN in RI without a problem and I've been a CNA in MA for 9 years

Thank you I have yet to receive any letters or emails stating what they would need from me but the case has been closed for about 6-7 years. Also I've contacted the GMC LIAISON twice with no response..how long after sending in your initial application did you get emails/ letters that stated more documentation was required

Hello I graduated nursing school September of 2022. Even though I live in MA I went to Nursing school (LPN) I'm RI and took my NCLEX for that state of RI, did my background check and finger scan no problem got my ATT, took my NCLEX and passed. I applied for my temp license in MA and got that without an issue. However when it was time to apply for my permanent MA license I filed on 12/27/2022 and on 1/7/2023 I called the PCHSQ for a status update and was told I was under CPS REVIEW. Back in 2014 my now ex husband "attempted" to hang himself , my house was deplorable and cops where called and a CPS report was filed I believe for the condition of the house however by the time CPS showed up 10 pm that night the house was spotless. A case was opened and ultimately I ended up leaving my ex and divorcing him, obtaining a restraining order, attending DV victim therapy at the request of my case worker changing cities and in 2016 my case was closed. I never went to court and children were never removed from my care not even for a mintue. I wasn't told I was under review u til I called and still haven't gotten any type of communication from the board. I was wondering if anyone else had any insight on what the process looks like and how long it will take. As for the PCHSQ website I'm on 6 out of 6 completed
