Countdown to May COT...

May COT is quickly approaching. I know of only 3 of us here who are in. Who else is going?

I still haven't commissioned, should be soon obviously.

I can't get on base to get all my uniforms, but I have a friend who can take me to do it. Does everyone have their stuff?

As I organize to close up my house for my renter, I am stressing about it getting moved before I leave for COT. I can't get to TMO before my orders.... kind of freaking out about that. I know I can have someone else do it for me, but it would have to be a friend, as I have no family here.

So many questions and lists in my head!

I'm out running to make sure I can keep up once I get there; it's a great stress killer.

I am driving to COT, it will take me about 2 days on the road. I am still trying to find someone who is going to AZ for NTP that wants a ride. would be nice.

i'm flying to COT too and then flying back to San Francisco and then driving down to AZ for NTP. what a whirlwind of a ride!

Mt, I'm going your route too. Flying to COT, flying home to Phoenix, then a17+ hour drive to San Antonio. Should be fun. lol. I don't mind the drive at all. It's the flying with so much stuff we have to bring. Luckily, I'm told we don't have to pay that bag fee!

MT and AFnur will be here in my hometown just as I'm leaving. lol.

Congrats midinphx, I'm going to be at Maxwell May 24th too... :icon_roll

Cool Adammn! another person. yay!! do you have a fb account. I like to see people so i can look foward to meeting them. he he!!! I am excited.

Just got back from TMO today.

Anybody know if a page had been set up on Facebook yet?

I think it is just the 4 of us on here that I know of going. Mt nurse, af nur, adam and me.

I'm official! That was so cool. I was commissioned out at Luke AFB today. I don't have orders yet. but i'm going out to get my uniforms next week.

Congratulations. Well they have to send in your commission papers in in order for you to get your orders. my recruiter said 30-45 days. But yours might be coming in faster since you will be leaving soon. congratulations again.

30-45 days! lol!!!

I'm supposed to report in 38 days. I am sure it'll get done faster than that. I'm not too worried about it. Things will work out. They have so far. I am just boxing up my household and moving it into the garage bit by bit. I know they will repack, so I'm just clearing out the house so my renter can at least have the house.

I'm orienting a new nurse at work in the meantime. I'm so looking forward to handing in my resignation for moving on for career oppertunities. :)

it shouldn't take that long. i know someone else from here who got theirs within just half of that time.

today, i met up with my recruiter at Travis. i signed up for a TMO briefing, applied and got approved for a military star card, bought more than half of my uniforms, and went to get my blues tailored for free with AAFES.

my recruiter said that we get our ID at COT.

wow...only four of us here going to May COT. i thought there was more!

Why did you only buy half your uniforms? I plan on getting everything on the list.

Have you started reading all that material in the huge 3 ring binder yet? lol. I glanced through it and recognized alot of it as things I have already dug up on my own. I plan on reading every word though!

Tick Tock

Aaaaahhhhhh guys! what 3 ring binder?. LOL

yeh... what 3 ring binder?
