I want to go to LPN program this year. I find two LPN school. one is C-NET, another is VEEB nursing. I have some questions want to know.
1. Are these schools very difficult to get into?
2. If I go into VEEB, anybody knows that could I transfer the LPN credits from VEEB's LPN to any RN program (include private RN or RN program in CUNY)?
3. I am a ESL(English as Second Language) student. I just passed ACT reading and math. is it difficult to get into VEEB LPN for me?what about the C-NET test?
Strongly appreciate!

Hi, and welcome to the forums.
1. Depends on what state,etc.. you live at. I didn't have any problems getting in. In my case, I got in the first try and was very happy. Also IMO it is "easier" to get in than to an RN program in a college. Trust me I tried!
2. Don't think you can transfer credits from a vocational school like "veeb" and others to a college. However they're "lpn-rn" accelerated programs, which mean you can do the RN program in less time.
3. Your english is fine! They are plenty of Students in my program that are not fluent in english, and they're doing fine!
Good luck!!

You would not be able to transfer credits from VEEB or any vocational school to an RN program that I know of. They will all require that you take college level english, anatomy, psychology, microbiology, etc.
Good luck!

I am a student at VEEB and you can transfer A&P 1 and 2 from VEEB to Molloy they have an articulation agreement with VEEB. Molloy will give you 14 credits coming in from VEEB I heard but that one I am not 100% sure about.
VEEB has an articulation with Helen Fuld as well. You must complete every class at VEEB with an 85% or above to go directly into Helen Fuld straight from VEEB. I have heard that once you come from VEEB you are eligible for Helen Fuld but you must work for a year. I am not sure if it's a guaranteed spot in the school.
However, I think it is easier to get into a RN program once you are an LPN. There are many different pathways.
My suggestion to you is to focus on getting into VEEB for Sept. and then decide what direction to take once you start.
BEST OF LUCK! VEEB is a GREAT school!!!
