Can any one please guide me on complications assoociated when Diluted resource is given in Central Line and also duration for dilution in blood ?

I am hoping it is not what I think, resource is a tube feeding?

Yeah the only "resource" I can think of is that like nutrition shake...please tell me no one is giving that through a line?!?!

Central line complications: the first that come to mind are infection and pneumothorax.
If you're asking about solutions being administered, it has the same precautions of any other line. Be careful what you're giving and make sure it is compatable with whatever else is in the line!
