Communicate

How come michigan nurses/students don't talk to each other like other states, although I do realize that people are busy, was just curious.

Yeah I was wondering the same thing! I check this forum everyday and it be dead.. Communication can be a lot better!

I know, do we not want to help each other?

I know exactly! Are you doing your pre reqs or you an nursing student?!!

Im actually done with nursing school, studying for the boards but always on here and noticed how there is hardly any communication on here. I graduated from Henry Ford Community College this year.

Congrats!! I'm trying to get where you are lol I had to sit out this semester because I have a lot of family drama going on and plus I will be moving soon so I wanted to wait until I have a clear mind and be settled! How was the nursing program at HFCC I'm deciding between there and WCCCD Downriver campus

Specializes in Labor and Delivery.

Totally agreed! I don't know but there's not much on here.

The program is excellent, totally loved it; teachers were great! I went there because I was able to jump on the waiting list as opposed to competing for the best gpa.

Yeah, nothing at all, wow.

Wish we michiganders communicated more.

Very true!

I'm in my first semester of nursing school at WCCCD and I would love some advice from the people that have graduated!

Make sure you study everyday, get a good nclex book, preferably saunders. make sure you practice lots of questions to get you in the mode of answering nursing style questions. definately figure out how you learn, visual, audio, study group, etc. learn skills like the back of your hand. make sure you have a good concept of how to do dosage calculations.
