Sep 16, 201213 yr Congrats!! I'm trying to get where you are lol I had to sit out this semester because I have a lot of family drama going on and plus I will be moving soon so I wanted to wait until I have a clear mind and be settled! How was the nursing program at HFCC I'm deciding between there and WCCCD Downriver campus

How was the nursing program at HFCC I'm deciding between there and WCCCD Downriver campusThe program is excellent, totally loved it; teachers were great! I went there because I was able to jump on the waiting list as opposed to competing for the best gpa.

Oct 3, 201213 yr Author Very true!I'm in my first semester of nursing school at WCCCD and I would love some advice from the people that have graduated!Make sure you study everyday, get a good nclex book, preferably saunders. make sure you practice lots of questions to get you in the mode of answering nursing style questions. definately figure out how you learn, visual, audio, study group, etc. learn skills like the back of your hand. make sure you have a good concept of how to do dosage calculations.
Oct 27, 201213 yr Thanks porkey! I bought a Saunders NCLEX book and got a 90 on my first test! I'm doing clinicals at Beaumont Gross Pointe...loving it so far...
