How do you politely delete coworkers as face book friends

Maybe it would be better deactivate that account and set up a secret one with just the people you really are close with. That's what I did - so when they asked - I truthfully answered that I deactivated the account and didn't want to open in anytime in the future. I went from 200 'friends' to about 40.

I am just honest and say that I don't think that it is in either of our best interest. I haven't had anyone get mad yet.

Several of the docs and others in my practice are my FB friends. I NEVER EVER EVER put anything personal on FB or the internet for that matter.

I ended up deleting coworkers except the few I associate with frequently outside of work. Two ppl have approached me about it and I politely told them that I'd decided to keep work and my outside life separate. Facebook is my own personal business and although I never mention work, I do speak my opinions sometimes in fb debates and I can't stand hearing what I've posted told to me by coworkers who are not even friends of mine on Facebook. My Facebook is super private, my pic is not up and you cannot even search under my name to find me, its been that way before becoming an RN therefore when things got back to me I quickly deleted the only links to my Facebook which were my coworkers.
