CNA Training

Is there such thing as CNA training anymore? If so, does anyone know where there is training available in the St. Louis area? Thanks!!

There sure is. I'd check with your state's board of nursing (locations offering classes may even be listed on their website) or you might want to post under the "region" tab (choose US and the state). Good luck!

Also, look in the continuing education department of local community colleges. I have also found many CNA training courses in the newspapers. Good luck!

Also keep in mind that some states now call CNA's State- Registered Nursing Assistants (SRNAs)

Also keep in mind that a lot of LTC facilities offer CNA training right there at the site, then all you have to do is go take the test. Good Luck! I worked as a CNA for 18 years and LOVED it!!!
