CNA Training Programs in NJ

Does anyone know of any schools in NJ that have CNA programs for people in nursing school or done with? (While I wait to start working since I won't be licensed until around October)

If you want to get state certified and want to work anywhere you want in nj with no strings attatched, id go to ace training institute. i graduated last year and was very happy with the school i had chosen. it was easy and fast. definitely prepared me for nursing 1. i felt like i was ahead of the class going through their program.

heres the link:

acehealthcaretraining.com

they are approved by the senior service and health dept.

hope this helps :) and good luck!

What class were you in?? I took my CNA training at Ace Healthcare Training Inst too!! (Dover, NJ). It was the only Morris County accredited CNA school. Had my tuition reimbursed when I got my job at Heath Village and the staff are really helpful throughout the program.

The only weekend CNA program I have found in NJ is at Mercer County Community College. It is every Saturday from Sept-Dec. Anyone know of other options? I am all searched out. This seems like a great program but it is about a 1hr 20min drive for me each way. I have found a couple of evening programs but I work 12 hour days 5 days a week in NYC so I can't get to them.

I found one in NY by New Age, but the clinical is during the week which also doesn't work :(
