my daddy wants me to become a anesthetist, but i'm not sure i'll be able to do the things they have to do. i mean, if i take classes for it in college, i know for sure i wouldn't memorize all the information needed to remember. i'm a bad learner especially when it comes to science classes, i do very poor. don't i have to memorize all the veins and what not? i mean, i don't even know for sure if i can stick a neddle in someones skin :uhoh21: give me the inside scope of what anesthetists do and what they have to remember.

You need to become an RN 1st, if you are interested in nursing at all.
If not, consider X-ray or Physical Therapy

You don't sound like it's what you want to do at all. Tell daddy he should become an anesthetist if it's what HE wants to do.

You can't go into something like this because daddy wants you to. You have to do it for you or you'll be unhappy. Find your own way & do something that you want to do.

By the time you'd be ready for CRNA school, you'll have experienced quite a bit as an RN. If you don't like the idea of being a nurse, I can't imagine you'd make it to CRNA anyway. So, the first question you need to ask is... can you think of some pre-requisite specialty that you might enjoy?
I had been in a hospital all of about 3 times before I decided I wanted to go to nursing school... I was scared to DEATH when clinicals started and probably felt more out of place than anyone in my entire class. I'm only a 2nd year student and I've already grown to love it more than I thought I would, and I'm at the top of my clinical group.
The point is, if you think you would be interested in some aspect of nursing, by all means do it! Once you get your BSN your options are limitless. Perhaps you need to examine all of the different specialties that are out there and decide what you'd like to do on your path towards CRNA.
Here's a good place to start: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_nursing_specialties
Good luck!
