Classes started yesterday......

I started yesterday in my 3rd semester...my one class, theory, which I admittedly wasnt looking forward to....suffice it to say that this course is going to be tough...lots of papers, presentations, etc. We also have to do web blogging and power points. I really feel sorry for about half the class...they were sitting there with jaws dropped b/c they were either not equipped with power point at home, had not set up their campus email, etc. At least I am comfortable with all of those things and with writing papers in general, and am not terribly freaked out about speaking in front of a group....but it is still going to be a lot of work!!!

and my mantra is....i can do this....i can do this....

I start my first semester January 9th & will be taking Adv Pharm, Theory, and Adv Patho. I hope I made the right decision by taking a fulltime load. At the moment, I am employed fulltime. I'm hoping the fact that I recently graduated 7 months ago & am still in the studying mode will help me.

Can I just say how jealous I am of all of you who are in nursing grad school!!!!!! :) I am still waiting to see if I will be accepted to start my MSN next Fall. I miss school so much! Even though I just graduated with my BSN in May 2005. I hope all of you will post here often about the classes you're taking right now & how they are going-I will live vicariously through you until I get in! :) Hee-hee!

I finished all my videos yesterday and it took about 5 hrs to watch them all. My next week has 13 videos all 15 min each. This is gonna be fun!! :uhoh21:

Hello everyone!! My classes start Jan. 18- advanced pharm. and ethics/cultural issues. Both of which are online classes- only a few days at the university this semester.

I start back into the Adult Nurse Practitioner program part - time on Monday January 23rd. I'm taking one class online (Organizational and Professional Dimensions of Advanced Practice Nursing) and another on Thursday nights (Science and Research for Advanced Practice Nurses). This is my second semester. I survived semester number one, I'm praying I'll survive semester number two

So how is everyone doing???

I took my first statistics test today, and have a pharm mid term in 2 wks. So far I have an A in each class, but its taking a ton of studying.

i'm surviving. So far, it's just a lot of reading. I'm in an ANP program and just have two classes this semester. I study and work, study and work....

This semester is WAY harder than last. Pharmacology is *the* hardest class I've ever had. I am determined to learn it though.

Well, so far I've had one Pharm exam that won't get graded until today (but who knows with the snow we've had) and I have a paper due Wednesday for my Family Systems class.

The pharm exam wasn't too bad, but I know that I made silly mistakes, so hopefully, I did ok.

I have had one test in Pharm and did ok (83%) but I was still disappointed, but there will be many more and now I know the format so I'm keeping my chin up. Ethics is no biggie- just a ton of reading.

This summer during the three interms I'm taking Nursing research 1 then 2 and health care policies.
