Class 64!

Hey! I just found out today that I was accepted to Class 64! I will most probably not defer, so I hope to see you there! My name is Eva, by the way :) I can barely contain myself today! Anyone else out there?

Is anyone arriving November 30th? From my neighborhood, there are not any flights that will get me there Dec 1 in time to catch the shuttle bus. I will have to arrive the night before, or leave the 30th with two stop-over's to arrive by noon on the 1st.

That's great! Have you registered on the Frontier-Bound page on Banyan Tree yet? They have a list of our classmates with a few sentences about our background. It's going to be fun to see where everyone is from and what we've done!

I will be flying in on the 1st. I get in around noon and will be riding the shuttle to Hyden. Are you going to spend the night near the hotel and ride the shuttle? I think it costs $75 roundtrip. I figure that is easier and cheaper than renting a care. The ride is 2.5 hours to Hyden from the airport, so it will be a chance to meet our new classmates.

I will be arriving on the 30th. Coming from Denver and it seems flights are always delayed so I didn't want to take my chances going in on the 1st especially this time of year. I will be staying in a hotel Sunday night and hoping to see a little of the city on Monday then catch the shuttle to Hyden. I am so excited to meet all of you.

You're not on there yet. I think you have to fill out the online form on Banyan Tree first. It asks a bunch of questions (including travel plans) and then has you write a few sentences about yourself--that is what is written next to your name.

When you got your acceptance email, there was a name/number of the IT person. Call them and get your username and password. You will need those to access Banyan Tree--which includes your email, the forums and the Pre-Frontier Bound page. The Bound page has a ton of info on what we need to do before coming.

I am still anxiously awaiting word about whether I've been accepted or not for bridge class 64.

I've already been looking at flights and times to get there.....reading about those who have been accepted in class 64 is getting me very excited about going!

From what I understand, they are taking longer on deciding who to accept for the bridge class, while those who are going right into the MSN program have been told sooner about acceptance.

I know others have said I have nothing to worry about (re: getting accepted), because I have 7+ years L&D experience, but I'm still nervous about getting in, nonetheless!!

Patience.......is certainly is a virtue!
