CHOP 2020?

Does anyone know anything about the CHOP nurse residency for December graduates? I know the last posting was for those graduating through October. When does CHOP traditionally have postings for nurse resident? Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

Has anyone heard back about an interview who was placed in the talent pool? Also, does anyone know if HR is putting everything on hold due to the craziness going on?

Not yet! I'm in the talent pool and haven't heard anything. But I think it's pretty understandable given their timeline is dependent on openings. Plus, the current state of affairs I'm sure has their focus shifted.

haven't had any updates from CHOP either, but I was suppose to have an interview at another hospital next week and they postponed until further notice. Right now most if not all hospital policies are limiting visitors/ any unnecessary personnel so I don't think we will hear anything for a good bit ?

@futurepedsnurse2020 Yes that's what I figured .. so unfortunate because this could really drag the whole process out ? and if you don't mind me asking what hospital postponed your interview??

Hi! I was wondering what department for Nemours you were supposed to interview for. I have been waiting and waiting for Nemours to start rolling out interviews and second round interviews. I interviewed with CICU 3 weeks ago, but still waiting for a response from other residencies in the system

@Ciara Casey hi so my friend interviewed for CICU like 2 weeks ago and got a call on Friday for a Skype PICU interview. However, when they gave her a PICU interview they told her she was not selected to move on to the 2nd interview for CICU

Thank you so much the info! When I got a call for CICU they told me I did not get a NICU interview, I wonder if the ICUs are trying to do one person per unit. Wondering about ED & the general application. Thanks again

On your workday, did the status of your application change? I only applied to NICU and it still says under consideration. I was wondering if the status changes if you were offered an interview.

When I was offered the interview for CICU my status changed to 'in process'. When they called me for this interview, they told me that I was not moving forward with NICU and the status changed to 'process complete'. I have a friend in school who interviewed with NICU in the beginning of February. DuPont seems like they are pretty slow with letting people know the status of what is going on ?

Thank you! Everything seems to be moving super slow. I’m waiting to hear back from Christiana as well for the NICU. I had a friend already go through the whole process for the post partum unit. She’s just waiting for the offer from HR at this point while I’m still waiting for the next step.

Christiana seems to be at different levels with everything. I know they have different "waves" of when they are interviewing with everything. I also applied to NICU at Christiana and haven't heard anything, but a week ago had my interview with postpartum and am waiting on a call from them. I know postpartum, ED, and L&D were in wave 1 which is now completed and offers are being made, but unsure about which wave NICU is in.
