Do any of you have any experience working for Children's Hospital Los Angeles? How do they treat thier nurses? Do you/did you enjoy working there? I want to work there in the future because my brother has a condition and frequents there often and I really like the enviroment and the work that is done there. Any info much appreciated :)

It has expanded since I was there, where I worked almost 3 years. I was drawn to them because of a relative treated there for leukemia. The place is just special. That's all I can say. People there have a very strong sense of advocacy, and I might say, there are some who would work for free (well almost)

I would no way in the world pass by an opportunity to work there. Good luck!! Hope some of you guys come back and share your experiences here if they do hire you!

Well, after my 2nd interview with the floor manager, I got a call 3 hours later with a job offer at CHLA. I am so excited!

The new grad residency starts in March 2010.:p
