Chancellors

Published

Hey who of you Excelsior students are using Chancellor's study guides? I've taken 3 tests so far with Chancellor's and the only one I didn't do so hot on was Humanities but I hated that class. So far Micro and NC 1 have been A's! I so far have loved Chancellor's they have all the info in an easy to read format (and easy to study)!!!!:yeah::yeah::yeah:

I too,am using Chancellors.I have taken 6 exams so far,and have gotten all B's with minimal study.Except A & P I used Lisa Arends as well as Chancellors and studied a little uver 3 months and got a B!!I am scheduled to take NC1 on 3/06 so I only have 3 weeks to study for it!I am only using Chancellors for my NC tests and feel confidant that that will be enough to pass, hoping to apply for the CPNE by end of july!!

I'm using Chancellors for Transitions, the material is very well organized and easy to read. The problem I'm having is the content, it bores me to death. I want to try Chancellors guides on Chronicity, but I'm having a hard time finding them any suggestions?

Also, I'm trying to find study guides with rationales, do you know of any? Besides the practice exams provided by EC, I can't seem to find guides with rationales.

I learn best when I know why I got an answer right....or wrong.:typing

I bought used Chancellor's guides on eBay for all the nursing concept exams and Lifespan ... I loved the audio!! I have a two-hour round-trip commute to work three days a week, and the audio guides meant that I could study while driving. So perfect! :) I'm one of those people who loves to multi-task, so if I can be doing something (safely) while driving, I'm a happy girl. :D I have a bunch of NCLEX review CDs that I'll listen to when I get to that point.

I got all A's and one B using those Chancellor's guides. Of course, I didn't ONLY use those guides, but they were my initial/primary study resource.

The ENC: Chronicity is the same Chancellors guide for NC1...you just have to print the exam content guide to know which areas to focus on for the first test then study the rest of it for your ENC: Reproductive Health.

My audio CD's don't work in my car...not sure what's up with that, but it's okay, I don't use them all that much.

Anyone have any ideas of where else to get these study guides used? They are very hard to find on ebay these days.

I know, they are aren't they.

I've got my micro I've never bought used books, mine all came straight from chancellors

I desperately need NC3..

Keep checking Ebay. Just make sure that who ever you buy from has a good amount of feedback. Buy it now is sometimes expensive, the straight auctions are the best deal because you set the price.

dont worry, i know it's hard, and I will help u for the NC 5,6 content when I get book.

How far are you in the program? I need nc5 and Nc6 now, .
