My friend took and passed the CGFNS exam last March 2003, but she wasnt able to obtain her certificate due to lack of English profeciency.Is her exam result is still valid until now? She is planning to take IELTS this coming December.

Oh my, its expired already on the 2nd year aniversary! it expired march 2005. she should take the easier one the TOEIC just to get the certificate. since its already expired we cant do anything.

Dave is correct on this one. That score is only valid for two years. If the English requirement is not met by then, then there is no chance of getting the CGFNS Certificate based on that exam.
They are going to need to retest to get it, but if not planning to work in a state where it is required, then would not do it. And would focus on passing the NCLEX exam only.

forgive my ignorance but is CGFNS Certificate valid for two years only? I'm quite confused.

They haven't yet got their certificate, they passed the exam in 2005 but after 2 years still haven't taken English exam and completed requirements
