CGFNS

CGFNS is pissing me off. We submitted the application on 4/14. My wife got her RN license in the state of NY. We applied for receiprocity. She paid for the service in which her records from her school was saved for 4 years. According to her status, it's waiting for approval. I mean they have the information that they need already, why is it that they are not working on this? It seems that they are waiting for us to expedite. I don't understand why they are that slow :nailbiting::down:

If she already has her license, why do you need to deal with CGFNS?

She applied for reciprocity for the state of PA. They need her school credentials again. When we call, they always say everything is online. Yes, we know it's there but we wanted to know the complete status. Then they will say about 8-10 weeks. Ughhhhhhhh

They have been unhelpful

A document from Europe was sent on March 17th. It still hasn't been received according to them. Another document took 2 months to get there but it was from NYC..

Welcome to CGFNS's world...

Hi,

I am in the same situation. I submitted my cgfns for new york state validation and it has been almost 6 months now since cgfns sent their request to PRC and my school. I called both prc and school and they said they have not received the request yet. Do you know where prc and school should send the transcripts to cgfns (to facilitate the process)? Kindly email me if it's okay.

Looking forward for your kind reply.

Thanks.

My understanding is cvs is done on specific paperwork so your transcripts can not be sent to them. Usually after 6 months CGFNS will forward whatever paperwork has been accepted to NY BON and they make decision and may accept transcripts

So it took 2 months for them to enter a document in the system, but then they issued my visa screen the next day! Not that bad after all
