In which areas are you haivng problems? If you can be more specific, then I can offer some guidance.
Well i have always had problems with Pharmacology i am unable to really learn all the side effects. By the way itys good to have you back suzanne, i hope you had a good time and well deserved rest.
Can you be more specific, and I would be glad to help. What are you not understanding with the pharmacology? The differences in the drug nomenclature, or the specific drugs...................
How many drugs are you trying to cover? I do have an available list with about 100 drugs that you need to be familiar with both for CGFNS as well as NCXLEX exams. Let me know if you want a copy.
It is on both of my home computers but I am at work right now..............
You can also reach me by instant messenger on yahoo and hotmail. I will be on from about 8:15 pm (California time)............if this helps............
Please do that for me i think it will be helpful, i think one of the problems is that i am not familiar with the ones that they like asking about and therefore and therefore i have been reading about lots of the, i think narrowing down to 100 would be helpful, i will be anline the whole time so i will send you an IM. Thanks in advance

I failed my Nov 2005 exam, please can anybody help me. I want to retake this july 2006 exam. I am planning to attend a review course in mla. and waht books did u people use that you passed. please give me some tips. Do I have to attend a review course . I would appreciate if anybody will get in touch with me and offer help.
Unless you are going to work in a state that absolutely requires the CGFNS exam, I would not consider retaking it. Preparation for that is completely different from the NCLEX exam, and the NCLEX exam will need to be written at one point or another to work in the US. I would concentrate on passing the NCLEX exam. And if an agency tells you that you need it, CGFNS exam, to work in the US, get another agency.

hi suzanne!iam also having difficulty with pharmacology and gonna take up cgfns exam this nov.8 hope u could send me the available lists that u have .it would be a great help.thanks.
Sorry, if you are taking the exam in one week, there is nothing that I can do at this point to help.
These are things that need to be reviewed over and over again, not just in one week.

It is not easy to secure an immigrant visa to US unless you have VSC. For nurses from AFRICA that dont have NCLEX testing site , I believe CGFNS is still the ultimate step now. I pray we have testing center very soon to remove the stress of long waiting before taking the actual exam.

I understand what you are saying but job wise I am sure you will have a lot better chance of obtaining one if you have passed NCLEX
