hello there!im new here!
im planning to have my eligibility in Texas. The TX BON sent me an email stating that I can have my credentials evaluated by either CGFNS, ERES, or IERF.
can anyone help me choose among the three? what are the pros and cons of each one?
Thanks!

Have moved your thread to the International forum as more appropiate.
Please do some reading in this forum as you will find many answers, there is also a thread on Texas if you use the search facility and keyword Texas I am sure you will find it.
I would also suggest reading threads on Primer to working in the US and retrogression as you are looking at several years before you will move to the US and even that is no longer guaranteed anymore if you meet all requirements including passing NCLEX.

Better to choose CGFNS, in my opinion. Once you have a CES report done by CGFNS, that report can also be used to other States (endorsement) and all State BON accredits CGFNS' services unlike the two you mentioned. In addition, you can also use the same documents you submitted to complete the CES for the Visa Screen service w/c is also done by CGFNS under ICHP and everyone w/o a green card and needing to be petitioned needs the Visa Screen, no matter what.
Disadvantage is that the CES report usually takes longer compared from the two but that is because everyone chooses CGFNS due to the advantages I mentioned.

Always go with the CES done by CGFNS. Hands down. That is the one that universities want to see if you plan ever to further your schooling, or what if you wish to go to another state for endorsement later on? Most of them want to see the CES.
The others may be faster, but at the moment with the retrogression, there is no fast way to get to the US.
@ SUZANNE4, LAWRENCE 01:
thank you for the reply!
But my reasons for choosing ERES/IERF over CGFNS are; first the former charges lesser than the former and second, the time it takes for my credentials to be evaluated is shorter when I choose ERES/IERF than CGFNS plus the fact that I don't want to take the CGFNS exam anymore. People tell me that as of this time, there are only 5 states in the US that require CGFNS (true?), others just require passing the NCLEX-RN.
Im at a lost! please help me decide! as of now, i really dont have plans of moving out of TX if ever, but I am not keeping my doors closed!

The CES report only needs the trancript of records and English exam evaluation. It doesn't include the CGFNS exam. That differentiates it from the CGFNS Certification Program (TOR+English exam+passing CGFNS exam) and like I said, if you are not holding a green card or married to an American Citizen then you will need the Visa Screen Certificate and that needs the same requirements from the CES and you don't have to re-send them the requirements anymore; they can use the documents you already submitted for the CES.
Most States just require the CES report and not the CGFNS Certification (CGFNS Exam included).
If you choose the other two, you have the benefit of it being faster and like you said more affordable but if you change your mind one day and most do and would want to endorse to another State and that State only recognizes CGFNS' services then you will have to apply for it. Instead of saving money in the short term, you end up costing yourself more in the long term.
That's it. We already said the different advantages and disadvantage and made our recommendation. It's now up to you to decide for yourself on what to do.
As Lawrence says only you can make your decision but remind yourself with retrogression you will not get over any quicker and would actually save a bit of money going CES route as you will not have to send documents again to CGFNS as mentioned by Lawrence for VSC.

I never plan to move out of florida and florida board of nursing states I can use either CGFNS/ERES/IERF/JSILNY. So money and speed wise...which should I use? Besides CGFNS, do others also require Toefl ibt speaking part of test to be at least 26? I passed the test with 88 and florida board of nursing states I need a 76.
