Neonatal Rescusitation Program (NRP) Basic Fetal Monitoring, ACLS (most L&D units are requiring ACLS now).
It might not hurt to have PCEP, a breastfeeding class or two, and get some CEUs on perinatal nursing care.

I'm not sure what I'm going to end up putting on my resume, but I'm hoping some of what I do will help later. Doula training, ICAN officer, active LLL member, NE Friends of Midwives member, we'll see. I'm also hoping to take the Human Lactation course online at Wichita State next summer.
do i need to submit proof of schooling prior to taking these cert. programs?? whats their requirements before enetering programs, do u know?? thanks

I am graduating in December and have taken both NRP and ACLS-OB and been certified in both prior to graduation. I am hopeful that it will help me to get into women's services. Either way, I found them both to be extremely helpful in understanding this final semester's course material.

NRP, Fetal monitoring and STABLE are necessary in my area... breastfeeding certification like (CLC or CLS) would be very beneficial as well.

I am enrolled in a NRP class, and I obtained a CLE and IBCLC. Hopefully something will get me in :)
