im in nyc, nassau county..yea, GPA is a factor. you have to have a GPA greater than 3.0, to be considered for program..

just wanted to know if getting employed with an ADN was possible, because every job post i read always states BSN prefered... im finishing up my ADN with no plans on going for my BSN....if anyone has any info please share...

im currently finishing up my ADN myself, and that has been my question all over this board... someone advised me to get hired as a Nurse Tech, and that would show experience on your resume and give you a boost!! there are alot of people with BSN, but dont lose hope, i know i wont..especially if your billingual like me and someone with a BSN APPLIES FOR THE SAME JOB AS YOU..who would u think get hired?? the person who can communicate best with patients fluently regardless of the ADN...both degrees take the NCLEX exam... hope this helps...
