CCRN

First off to say, Im veeery excited to pass this test. I did today, with flying colors. However when I mentioned to the other nurses that I had the CCRN to take this Friday I got- 2 eye-rolls,:uhoh3: 7 sighs, and couple of nasty comments about how useless it is. So now I can even tell anyone that I got it. Especially that I am a new CV nurse and new to the unit-but obviously not new to ICU. Sooo, Im telling you guys :D:yeah:

    The Denison book is pretty good too. In the end I ended with 4-5 books and got something out of all of them. I found that cardiac and especially knowing your swan values and how it affects hemodynamics with proper pharmacology was the major emphasis of the test. Thank you everyone for your encouragements. I am thinking of looking for a job that does pay extra and values the CCRN.
