CCBC Spring 2017

Yes I called and some lady didn't get her name said they don't even look at them if reading is below 69% so guess I gotta just wait and see

Yeah, I completely understand. My CAS gpa and the gpa I calculated with Mrs. Jones are completely different. I want to ask her about it, but I do not want to seem bothersome.

Well I called can and spoke with them their GPA is way different they said that they don't calculate it like how we se it and something about repeated courses are counted as well, but I wouldn't worry about theirs it you overall for pre req and sciences. I just wonder why they don't look at your app if the reading is below but you have proficient I'm just trying to have faith that I get accepted on behalf of everything else and not JUST because my reading was low I did OK in science and English and git proficient which clearly shows that I can read and comprehend lol.

Honestly, I would wait it out and see what happens. Anything can happen. They might not have as many scores that are above a 69 for reading. Then they would have no choice but to "look at them."

Right maybe I have no choice you are totally in if they go by scores. I guess it just depends on who apply but it does make sense to ween out the ones who didn't get high enough on reading, but it become so nerve wrecking when you have a proficient score and from what I heard from other post is proficient is proficient regardless of the individual score so u guess the reading does play big role in deciding factor but I don't think that they should count your app out just based on reading score ijs, also it seems like that would kind of seem like scamming to a scenes because nursing school and ate both make money IDK I'm wrecking my brain here but thank for letting me vent to you and good luck.

Why can't you retake it?

To retake it has to be 31 day so eventually I will just for my own sake, but for this app cycle it's over my app is in transcript are in I'm just waiting for the deadline and decision now I anticipated for fall 2017 anyway but Gwyn Degner the Ccbc catonsville advisor said I should apply to program because of my grades I did everything late took teas on 8/13 and didn't allow myself time for retake.I was really confident in myself and I still am just gotta wait, if I hear anything about updates as far as the spring 2017 will def keep you posted thanks again.

Besides CCBC, What other schools are you guys considering?

Nyrse....check out harford community college as well. There is no minimum on the teas test. Also its all on a point system so your gpa would probably get you alot of points.

No others for me I been going to Ccbc and just feel do at home with this college, but will def look into it.

Perhaps you could contact Ms.Degner and see what she says about your reading TEAS score. She may have more insight about it
