Well it sounds benign but I can't be sure. I truly advise you to see a GYN and have a full exam, if you have not already. It's likely he or she can reassure you are indeed "normal".....or treat any problem that may exist.

I know this does not reassure you, and I am sorry. If you do not have a doctor of your own, you can try Planned Parenthood or your County Health Dept and see if you can get seen by a GYN or NP there, for exam. Often their services are very low-cost or even FREE for some qualified people.

Do you see a gynecologist regularly? You should go yearly and ask for reassurance at that time. That said, women have a lot of glands in the vulva; sometimes it looks like goosebumps. Inoffensive, non-odorous discharge is normal at different times of the month. When you're ovulating it might be very thick and clear and stretchy; at other times it might be thicker and pasty. See your doctor if it smells really bad or if it is itchy or if it burns when you pee.

I've seen my gyno yearly for the past three years with regular pap smears and she's never mentioned it. I never did because I was never aware it wasn't normal. Surely she would notice. The bumps anyway if not the discharge. Sometimes it smells kind of strange but never putrid. My husband's never said anything about the bumps either. I KNOW he would notice!

I'm definitely going with what Deb says (SmilingBluEyes). I would see your doctor about this. Sometimes things which bother us aren't obvious to your doctor. I'd point them out to him/her.

Like Deb said, this is a board for discussion, not diagnosis. Wish we could help more but we can't see what's going on. Your doc is your best bet on this one.

I have a very personal question. Since I was little I've had bumps in my lady partsl area. I've had them as long as I can remember and have never thought anything about it until I started nursing class and now I don't feel normal. I have also had a slight discharge since I was young too. These bumps don't itch and are not painful. I'm confused and freaking out.

Get an appointment with a gynecologist. This is not the appropriate place to pose this question and we won't be any help anyway. You still need to see a practitioner.

No, don't be scared. Do mentiom it to the Gyno, and chances are that you are ok but it is better to know for sure and be safe. Take care ok. :)
