Please tell me I'm not the only one...I'm currently a CNA and will be starting the nursing program this fall. However I already can't take the cattiness of the girls. It's frustrating. I see it as a CNA and am afraid nursing won't be any different. I thought I left that bs behind in high school. IV never been one for clicks and it's highly frustrating and disheartening. Should I expect this as a nurse too?

It all depends on the people involved. You'll encounter it in school, as well as the workplace. I struggle with the same issues in some of my coworkers... You just have to learn how to ignore it and not get wrapped up in the pettiness.
Good luck!

You'll get anywhere no matter what field your in. I choose to live my life treating people well and not thriving off drama, if others choose to do the opposite, that's their choice. I believe in karma so if I encounter catty behavior towards me, it honestly doesn't even phase me. This world is hard enough without tearing other people down too.

"Mean girls" (not really gender specific) are everywhere. It's always your choice to become involved or react to them.
