Cat Anatomy

For all of us dealing with cat dissection right now.. I thought we could all use a little comic relief. This is very adorable- I had to share.

Thanks for the comic relief!

LOL

I compartmentalize when I love on my cat. I try really hard to not see my specimen as a real cat. :)

kinda hard sometimes. wait til you see the organs!

luckily most of the muscles are like human muscles!

The organs don't bother me nearly as much as the muscles.. the muscles all looked alike to me... just sliced here and there. I'm much more at home checking out organs and cavities and arteries. :)

Oh, muscles were pretty fun. I was so over that lab after the first week. It's not that its gross, I just wanted to move on already. And that was a 6 week class! Lol

Next Tuesday is dissection of cat day :( I have 3 cats, this will be hard for me, but necessary. Can you also email me histology chart I read about on another post.. [email protected]

THANKS!

LOL - I do the same thing. When I pet my cat's tummy, I can't help but visualize the long uterus on each side! Before this class, I thought that the babies just shared one big round uterus - but no, they line up in those long uterine "tubes"!

when i got my cat for dissection, it was pregnant for 4 babies. that was hard, but that kitty helped me ace anatomy!
