If there is no regional insurance company near you, you would need to search the websites of the big boys. United Health Group, Aetna, Humana, etc. The big boys are also looking for nurses for disease management. You have the qualifications, just need to market yourself.

Not sure, everyone works at the same company and not much in the way of movement which I guess is a good sign.

Yes, after several months of training the employees can work from home but there are set hours similar to banking hours. Also cannot openly have kids at home, we do but a lot of effort goes into keeping them away and quiet. Lots of business calls.

Yes, unfortunately for us.

Weeks to months. Knowing someone inside helps with this tremendously.

My wife and friends like it and it has allowed us to do things we otherwise could not with the kids. The money is not the greatest though and I think she gets bored but it has allowed to me to grow my own career and move as necessary to climb the ladder. It is easy, flexible, steady, banking hours work.

Thank you for all of your help. Another reason I am leaning toward this is the fact that my husband has a career that has him away a few times a month, and he is also being transfered next year to the Cincinnati area. A job that allows me to work from home would give him the flexibility that he needs. Our children are 10 and 11, so they are in school during the day and old enough to occupy themselves during the summer. If you don't mind me asking, which company do they work for? Unfortunately I do not know anyone in the insurance aspect of nursing so I don't rally have anyone to ask these questions. Thank you for all of your help!
