Can someone explain this please?

I am working on my care plan, and spent hours trying to figure out what kind of diagnostic study/exam is this: CR L Spine, two views . History of lower back pain.

I figured out it is about examining the spine, but how to describe this test?

I have my Labs/diagnostic studies book, but cannot find the explanation.

    It's an x-ray of the lumbar spine. Not sure with the CR means, probably cross views.

    likely is a typo for XR, (X-ray), "C" key is next to "X" key, two views suggests X ray
