A case? What kind of case? If it's a transferred patient, won't some paperwork come along with him/her?
A sexual assault case, this is not a transfer patient

Would a women's shelter be able to provide some legal guidance? Surely they would have an attorney contact who might be able to help.
Thanks guys for the quick responses, got to go do this now.

I would assume that the local law enforcement would be able to guide you. We are required to contact law enforcement in the county the assault occured,...let us know how this was handled.

I would do what you would normally do for a local patient....I would contact the local police department then let them decide how to proceed with any investigation...
SOOooooooo,...what happened? How was this handled? :hngon:
